Hana Oceanfront
Just across the street from Hamoa Bay, Hana’s premier white-sand
beach, lie these two plantation-style units, impeccably decorated in
old Hawaii decor. Our favorite unit is the romantic cottage, complete
with an old-fashioned front porch where you can sit and watch the ocean;
seperate bedroom (with a bamboo sleigh bed), top notch kitchen appliances
(Jenn-Air stove); and comfy living room. The 1,000 square foot vacation
suite, located downstairs from hosts Dan and Sandi’s home (but
totally soundproof-you’ll never hear them) has an elegant master
bedroom with polished bamboo flooring; spacious bath with custom hand-painted
tile, and a fully–appointed kitchen. Outside is a 320-square foot
lanai. The units sit on the road facing Hana’s most popular beach,
so there is traffic during the day. At night, the traffic disappears,
the stars come out, and the sound of the ocean soothes you to sleep.
